12/31/2025 – “Today we helped our 264th and 265th families of the year! Number 265 was a single, hard-working mom of four, with baby number five on the way. Her car was being held hostage by a garage that was charging her late fees of $100 every two weeks. Alex N. hand-delivered the check that put an end to that, and mom cried from relief when she heard the news.
Family number 264 was a single mom with five kids. They’re currently sleeping in an unheated trailer with no electricity. Mom got approved for a Section 8 apartment, and you guys paid the security deposit that will make it possible for them to move in January 1! “

- Our referrals come for various reasons, including prenatal education, labor and delivery preparation, breastfeeding support, newborn care education, parenting support, and connecting families to essential resources.
- For many families, accessing resources takes priority over learning and applying the concepts we discuss, which can limit their ability to care for themselves and their families effectively.
- Foothold has been an invaluable resource for families in urgent need. Helping families catch up on utility bills enables them to focus on the well-being of their home rather than just maintaining a roof over their heads.
